My dad was always a great fan of horse racing having clients such as “The AJC” & “The STC” as well as personally knowing many trainers, jockeys & bookmakers in the industry. This reflects to the many exciting & captivating moments that he photographed within “The Horse Racing industry”.

This classic was taken in 1952 at trainer “Neil McKenna’s Randwick stables”. Here he is showing young apprentice “Billy Harris” the rules that are to be adhered to. Note the last rule is “Turn off the lights”
The mighty “Tulloch” in full flight at “Randwick” with “George Moore” in the saddle. I once asked dad who was the best race horse he had ever seen in his lifetime. Without hesitation he replied, “No doubt, Tulloch”
