There aren’t so many colour photographs as the black & white section as mono-tone was the dominant media for sports photography in my fathers’ time.

Glen “Kunga” Kelly. Australian & IBF InterContinental Light/Heavyweight champion. The “ Lord of the ring Ray Connolly” would have introduced Glen in this manner, “Introducing a bronze statue of Australian manhood, Glen Kelly”.
Tszyu v Pineda Sydney 1996. Russian-Australian boxer Kostya Tszyu defends his IBF Light Welterweight title against Colombian challenger Hugo Pineda, with Kostya winning by knockout in the 11th. What a right hand, one of the best.
